This eight-month course (1.5 hours each session) will take you on an emotionally intelligent journey to discover yourself and learn how to consistently be the best person you can be both at work and at home. From seasoned executives to aspiring leaders, everyone can benefit from knowing and growing their emotional intelligence. In fact, studies have found that the majority of workplace success in leadership positions is linked to emotional intelligence.
You will learn to: Define emotional intelligence and understand why it is so important for success in all relationships - whether personal or professional.Identify and dive deep into the four aspects that compose emotional intelligence.Increase your level of self-awareness by understanding your individual personalities, your values, and the impact you have on others.Manage your emotions to enhance your relationships with practical strategies.Better understand others' personalities and increase your ability to empathize with those around you.Build better relationships with stronger communication and an enhanced ability to manage conflict. This course features easily learned elements all clearly explained by Barb Egenhofer, based on her 20 years' experience of helping people to improve workplace relationships and performance in many different settings and cultures.
