Capstone Information Technologies Expands Into South Florida
Rochester Chamber member Capstone Information Technologies announced an expansion of the business into South Florida. This marks the first time Capstone IT has operated outside of New York State. Originating in Rochester in 2003, Capstone's steady growth over the first decade allowed the company to open a second office in Buffalo in 2014. Capstone has now set its sights on the Atlantic coast of the "Sunshine State", placing its third location in West Palm Beach.
Two employees currently reside in the area, with plans to add more as the local client base grows. “Finding the right city for our third location took some extensive research and careful planning,” said Sitima Fowler, Co-CEO of Capstone. “Luckily, the Economic Gardening Program through Greater Rochester Enterprise helped us narrow down the cities that met all of our strategic objectives.”
“Companies already located right here in the Greater Rochester, New York region will generate at least 80 percent of our economic growth,” said Matt Hurlbutt, interim President and CEO of Greater Rochester Enterprise. “That's why we support promising businesses like Capstone Information Technologies with our Economic Gardening program, which provides company leaders with resources they need to achieve their fullest potential.”
Capstone Information Technologies specializes in highly-responsive computer support, IT consulting, and proactive managed services for businesses. Capstone has placed on the Inc5000 list, CRN’s Top 100 MSB for security, and is a nationally certified Great Place to Work.
