Computer Systems Asset Disposal Expands, Moves to Gates
Rochester Chamber member Computer Systems Asset Disposal LLC has moved to a new, expanded location in Gates and added eight employees to accommodate its growing business.
The company, founded in 2012, works with organizations across New York State to manage decommissioned computer, electronic, and medical equipment. Rather than just scrapping and recycling the hardware, CSAD focuses on refurbishing and reselling it, returning a portion of the proceeds to its clients.
CSAD, originally located off Scottsville Road in Chili, now occupies a 13,000-square-foot facility at 37 Industrial Park Circle. It employs 17 people.
“We have doubled our team and almost tripled our space to handle the growth we’ve seen over the last three years,” said Peter Bartula, president of CSAD.
Bartula anticipates the company will continue to expand and expects to create 15 additional jobs in 2018.
“This location is strategically situated for us, and it gives us the flexibility to grow,” Bartula said. “We are excited to be part of the Gates community.”
