ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Dixon Schwabl has a long history of supporting Greater Rochester and its non-profit community. In its 34 years in business, the company has donated countless hours of service and significant financial support to hundreds of organizations throughout the region. The marketing company is opening its 2021 application process for area organizations hoping to receive financial support – including donated in-kind services or a financial donation – from Dixon Schwabl throughout the year.
“Community is one of our most treasured core values at Dixon Schwabl,” said Kim Allen, CEO. “We believe that you get back what you put in and we have enjoyed wonderful success throughout our three decades in business in Greater Rochester. That success is reliant upon a thriving community and, at our core, it is our responsibility to do what we can to pay our success forward.”
Dixon Schwabl’s charitable giving focuses on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action (IDEA) as well as Health. Health includes organizations that serve the physical and mental health of our community and IDEA includes organizations that serve youth, social services and education.
The Charity Giving program at Dixon Schwabl is led by Managing Partner Connor Dixon-Schwabl.
“My parents have built a philanthropic legacy and have shared resources, talents and time to the amazing organizations in our community, like United Way of Greater Rochester, Daystar, MCC Foundation, CDS Monarch and others, that I can remember as far back to when I was a child,” said Dixon-Schwabl. “It’s important to me personally to continue their legacy of giving back, doing good and making a difference. It’s what I’ve watched them do my entire life, and as they’ve accepted new roles as Board Chair and Vice Chair of Dixon Schwabl, I owe it to them – and our entire team – to continue this legacy. I’m committed to that.”
The agency is accepting applications for 2021 giving through January 31, 2021. Organizations applying for Dixon Schwabl’s support must be located in the Greater Rochester and Buffalo areas and provide proof of 501(c)3 status.
Applications can be submitted here and must meet key criteria for consideration.
