Greater Rochester Health Foundation Offers Community Health Grants
Rochester Chamber Partner member Greater Rochester Health Foundation recognizes there are many smaller non-profit organizations, departments, and programs whose good works have few options to turn to for funding. Community Health Grants were created to address this gap in our community.
Community Health Grant funding ranges between $5,000 and $35,000. Grants are given to projects which are intended to support a variety of short-term, health-benefiting activities. Non-profit organizations, health, religious, or education organizations and government departments can apply for 1-year grants to support a range of projects, such as purchasing equipment, facility repair for a health-benefiting program, short-term pilot programs, bridge funding until a known revenue stream begins, or skill development training for staff.
Strong preference is given to smaller grants submitted by smaller organizations (those with an annual budget of $5 million or less).
