GRQC Announces Performance Excellence Awards Finalists
Greater Rochester Quality Council, a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce affiliate, announced finalists in six categories for the 10th annual GRQC Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards. The awards seek to discover, recognize, and learn from high performing organizations in the Greater Rochester Area. Award recipients will be recognized at the GRQC Annual Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards April 28 at Locust Hill Country Club.
Greater Rochester Quality Council is a membership organization that teaches leaders in the business, health care, education, not for profit, and government sectors to improve organizational performance through training, program presentations, and networking. The organization delivers value to members through collaboration and demonstration of proven quality improvement methods.
The GRQC Performance Excellence Awards finalists in the six categories are:

Not-for-profit: Team Excellence: Camp Stella Maris, Hillside Service Solutions, Hillside Family of Agencies-Outpatient Services, Villa of Hope
Not-for-profit: Customer Excellence: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Health Care: Operations Excellence: University of Rochester Medical Center
Health Care: Team Excellence: Rochester Ambulatory Surgery Center, Rochester Regional DSRIP Program, URMC Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, URMC Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
The 10th annual GRQC Showcase and Performance Excellence Awards at Locust Hill 5 to 8 p.m. April 28 features exhibits by leading organizations and a performance and presentation by the University of Rochester YellowJackets, semifinalists on the NBC television competition “The Sing-Off.” WROC-TV Channel 8 news anchor Mark Gruba is Master of Ceremonies and Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy is scheduled to deliver remarks.
