Han-Tek Moves Facility to Honeoye Falls

Rochester Chamber member Han-Tek announced the acquisition of a new facility in Honeoye Falls, NY, previously-occupied by General Motors.  The company has been growing at a record pace resulting in talent growth, increased product and the need for a larger, improved manufacturing space.

“As a company that produces integrated automated material handling solutions and large cranes, the added space in a state-of-the-art facility is critical to Han-Tek’s growth and continued success,” states Patrick Tobin, Han-Tek President. “Our talented and creative workforce, focused on automation and product movement, generates innovative solutions and efficiencies for our customers’ production processes.” The list of clients Han-Tek supports includes a mix of Fortune 500 companies and medium/large sized business across New York State such as American Packaging, Granges, American Axel, and Raymond Corp.

With the rapid growth, Han-Tek is pleased to not only sustain their current employee base but create 20-30 new positions in the Western, NY area. Tobin states, “We look forward to capitalizing on the talented workforce that surrounds the Greater Rochester Area and adding to our family of dedicated and hard-working employees. Our company culture reflects the way we service our community, by always putting the needs of our employees and customers first.” Han-Tek looks to occupy this new facility in Q2 of 2019 and has already begun the search for staffing resources.

They are truly an extension of our team and together, we are creating increased value for our customers. APC looks forward to our continual partnership and mutual growth and success.”

Han-Tek is thankful to the Victor community and neighboring businesses where they’ve built a home for the past 50 years. Tobin says, “We’re grateful for the strong foundation we’ve built at Han-Tek and within our community, but our future is bright.
