Allendale Columbia to hold Ukraine Medical Relief Fund Benefit Concert
The Allendale Columbia Eighth Grade will hold a concert in support of the Ukraine Medical Relief Fund of Rochester Regional Health Foundations on Saturday, December 3rd at 7 p.m. at Allendale Columbia School. It will consist of classical and holiday music performed by Katha Zinn, violinist, and her husband, pianist Illya Filshtinskiy, both Juilliard School graduates. Katha is an AC alum, and Illya arrived in the U.S. from Ukraine at age 13. The musicians will be joined by the Allendale Columbia choruses and the 8th graders singing the popular Ukrainian piece, Carol of the Bells.
Tickets are free, but donations are encouraged to the Ukrainian Medical Relief Fund, a program sponsored by the Rochester Regional Health Foundations to deliver medications and supplies to Ukrainian hospitals. The performance will also be live-streamed online for anyone unable to attend in person. Please join us and share this information far and wide!
