Phillips Lytle LLP Adds Five Attorneys as it Climbs Toward Recruitment Goals
Buffalo, N.Y. - Phillips Lytle LLP is pleased to announce that they have hired five new attorneys firmwide as it moves toward fulfilling the recruitment goal of the firm’s recently adopted aggressive growth strategy of hiring 40 new attorneys. The additions of Natalia Marte, Anthony Ghanem, Roxanne Joyce L. Mercado, Bianca M. Pavia and Eoin Ó Muimhneacháin are a testament to the firm’s dedication to its clients, and its continuance to maintain client satisfaction. In 2022, Phillips Lytle has brought on 35 new attorneys.
Natalia Marte joins Phillips Lytle as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She brings considerable appellate experience having previously held the position of attorney for the N.Y.S. Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. She has been involved in matters including real estate, commercial and corporate transactions, personal injury and zoning board appeals. Natalia also handles a broad range of commercial litigation matters. She received her J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, her M.A. from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and her B.A. from Roger Williams University.
Anthony Ghanem is an associate (admission pending) in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group focusing on venture capital transactions, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. His practice focuses on general corporate and complex transactional matters, including venture capital transactions, technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Anthony also assists clients with drafting and negotiating technology transactions, such as commercial agreements, SaaS and other licensing agreements for technology platforms and service providers. He received his LL.M. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his LL.B. from Université La Sagesse (ULS) School of Law.
Roxanne Joyce L. Mercado is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Roxanne focuses her practice on general corporate, securities and private equity matters. She represents public and private companies in a broad array of matters, including commercial contracting, mergers and acquisitions, Securities Exchange Act reporting and compliance, private equity and venture capital investments, fund formation, joint ventures and other corporate and regulatory matters. She received her LL.M. from Columbia Law School and her J.D. from Ateneo De Manila University School of Law.
Bianca M. Pavia joins the firm as an associate in the Corporate Practice Group, concentrating her practice in mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions and corporate matters. She also has expertise in the development of renewable energy projects, including solar, in her prior role as general counsel of a renewable energy company. Bianca received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and her B.A. from Boston University.
Eoin Ó Muimhneacháin (Moynihan) is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, bringing significant expertise with respect to high value commercial dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration and mediation. Having practiced law as a New York attorney in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Eoin has represented large multinational companies, governments and startups in industries including energy, retail, technology, gaming, shipping, aviation, construction, insurance, manufacturing and finance. He has particular expertise pertaining to disputes with an international or cross-border element, and commercial arbitration in multiple foreign jurisdictions and jurisdictional challenges. Eoin was appointed a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2021. He received LL.M. degrees from both New York University School of Law and the National University of Singapore, and received his B.C.L. from University College Cork, Ireland.
