Climate Solutions Accelerator Revives Green Drinks: A Networking Series for Environmentally Conscious Professionals
ROCHESTER, NY (October 5, 2023) The Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of "Green Drinks," a happy hour networking event aimed at bringing together local professionals who care about their organizations’ impact on the planet. The first Green Drinks event of 2023 will take place at the renowned Iron Smoke Distillery in Fairport, New York, on October 12, from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Green Drinks provides a unique opportunity for like-minded professionals to connect, share ideas, and forge valuable relationships within the community. Attendees can expect engaging conversations, networking opportunities, and the chance to discover new ways to promote sustainability within their organizations.
This first Green Drinks event will feature an exciting additional component: an early introduction to "Color Your Organization Green." This innovative program, spearheaded by the Climate Solutions Accelerator, is designed to guide organizations toward environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. The Accelerator team will be on hand to provide insights and answer questions about how organizations can participate in the 2024 cohort. The application process for the 2024 cohort will officially open on the day of the event, giving attendees a head start on the application process.
