Miss Julie's School of Beauty is a unique initiative designed to empower those at risk and survivors of human trafficking through vocational training in cosmetology. As a licensed cosmetology instructor, Julie Chapus has played a pivotal role in developing innovative programs to provide survivors with valuable skills and stable income.
In her workshop titled "Dismantling Sex Trafficking," Julie will share insights into the unique challenges of combating sex trafficking in Rochester, NY. Attendees will learn about the strategies needed to foster community relationships and support the reintegration of trafficking survivors.
Miss Julie's School of Beauty is a startup, nonprofit cosmetology school committed to empowering survivors of human trafficking through vocational training.
