The Monroe County Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is excited to invite Greater Rochester Chamber members to attend and participate in the 2024 Upstate New York Supplier Diversity Summit on Thursday, January 25th. The Summit serves as a pivotal platform for diverse-owned businesses to connect with influential leaders and gain valuable business insights.

This year’s event will feature a Supplier Diversity Update from the University of Rochester Medical Center, the Greater Rochester region’s largest employer, as well as panels on Supplier Diversity Opportunities, Successful Diverse-Owned Businesses, Access to Capital, and Government Contracting. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with other diverse MWBE owners and changemakers at notable corporations in our region. Throughout the event, there will be both dedicated networking opportunities between sessions in addition to a continuous exhibitor hall to showcase a number of local organizations, including Greater Rochester Chamber, TalentEdge, and Authentica.

The Upstate New York Supplier Diversity Summit will feature a keynote presentation from Jason Clark, Executive Vice President of the Division of Minority & Women’s Business Development. Greater Rochester Chamber’s President & CEO Bob Duffy will also speak at the event to introduce Clark and share some insights on DEI in Greater Rochester.
