Litigation Law Firm Expands: Adams Leclair Adds Two Attorneys after Moving to Legacy Tower
The litigation firm of Adams Leclair LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two attorneys to its commercial litigation and construction law practice groups. Ted Baum joins as a partner and Kelly Geary as an associate. Prior to coming to Adams Leclair, both Baum and Geary worked together as colleagues at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter.
Ted Baum received his juris doctorate from Albany Law School and has spent his entire legal career in the Rochester area. He has focused on construction and surety litigation and has defended damage and personal injury claims arising from construction projects.
“It is very gratifying to add someone of Ted’s caliber and experience to our firm,” declared Paul Leclair, a founding partner, who worked briefly with Ted many years ago at a prominent Rochester law firm. “This truly seems like the perfect ‘full circle moment’ to have Ted join our partnership.”
Kelly Geary is an alumna of Union College and received her juris doctorate from Vermont Law School. She concentrates her practice on construction & surety, employment, and insurance defense matters.
“I am interested in delving into new issues and areas, preparing and presenting motion arguments, and engaging in trial practice in both state and federal courts,” remarked Kelly Geary.
In addition to Kelly’s success in the courtroom, she has been a volunteer with JustCause (formerly Legal Services Project of Rochester), providing counsel to community members in need, and has served as a Circle of Red Advocate for the American Heart Association. She speaks both English and Spanish and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester.
In December 2023, the Adams Leclair moved to Legacy Tower in anticipation of more attorneys being welcomed into other practice areas as well as more support staff being added throughout 2024 and beyond.
