City of Rochester to Celebrate Flower City Union’s 2023 National Professional Soccer Championship
CITY HALL ROCHESTER, N.Y. (April 9, 2024) – “Save the Date” Rochester Mayor Malik Evans will be recognizing Flower City Union for their 2023 historic National Independent Soccer Association Championship during a celebration event at City Hall on April 19 at 2:30 PM
Flower City Union is the reigning Champions of the 2023 National Independent Soccer Association (NISA). The club posted three remarkable road victories during late 2023 post season play, traveling 7500 miles in fourteen days to Los Angeles, Chattanooga and finally Michigan to capture the NISA Championship.
Mayor Evans will be making remarks and recognizing Flower City Union during the event. Members of Flower City Union; players, coaches’ owners and club executives will be in attendance, along with the 2023 NISA Championship Trophy!
The event is open to fans of the club, as well as members of the media. Advance RSVPs are required no later than April 18 at 5 PM.
