ROCHESTER, NY (April 16, 2024) – Greater Rochester Chamber’s Small Business Council affiliate is seeking nominations for its 41st annual Business Person of the Year Awards. Presented in two categories for different-sized organizations, these awards recognize business leaders who have demonstrated success in both civic and professional areas, specifically in the areas of growth, leadership, achievement, and community service. The Business Person of the Year Awards will be presented at a ceremony and celebration at the Hyatt Regency Rochester on Wednesday, July 31st from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Candidates are nominated by their peers, and an independent committee reviews applications submitted by nominated individuals. This independent group of business leaders selects the finalists and recipients. The award will be presented in two categories, for businesses with fewer than 50 employees and for businesses with 50 or more employees. The recipients of this award will choose non-profit organizations for the Small Business Council to make a donation to on their behalf.
