Rochester Education Foundation seeking Career Models for Future Fair
The Rochester Education Foundation (REF) will provide an event for RCSD 7th grade students that exposes them to a variety of careers and are seeking individuals to serve as Career Models for students. They intend to recruit at least 100 career models from a variety of diverse fields who are financially independent, like their jobs, and give back to the community.
On October, 11 from 9:00 - 1:30 at St. John Fisher University, career models will meet with students in small groups to share their career experiences and the path needed to get there. This event will provide HOPE, INSPIRATION and EXCITEMENT as students are able to imagine their own bright future because of YOU!
7th graders will travel in groups of 8 or 9 with their college student guide, to meet with 8 dynamic career models for 7 minutes each. Career models will be asked to share their story about 14 - 16 times over the course of the FUTURE FAIR. To learn more, please see the Future Fair Fact sheet here.
