Labor Law Poster Updates From Across the Country

Below are several labor law poster updates for July 2024 shared by our poster partner, GovDocs. According to GovDocs, to maintain compliance, employers with locations in these states must replace previous posters or display new versions of the applicable postings.

  • Colorado has updated its Employment Discrimination posting with a new Crown Act effective date and its Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance posting in Spanish with new posting requirements to required for all employers and changes to its filing claims and job protection sections.
  • Florida has updated its Child Labor Law posting with formatting changes.
  • Georgia has updated its Unemployment Insurance for Employees posting with the addition of a portal to register for employment services, its Equal Pay for Equal Work Act posting in English and Spanish with the addition of a phone number for information on Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, and its Vacation Unemployment Insurance posting in English and Spanish with changes to its vacation unemployment insurance requirements.
  • Kansas has updated its Workers' Compensation posting with changes to its liability amounts and reporting time.
  • Louisiana has updated its Earned Income Credit posting in English and Spanish with changes to its earned income tax credit.
  • Nevada has updated its Rules to be Observed by Employers posting in English and Spanish with the addition of a new section regarding domestic violence and its Job Training/Employment Programs posting in English and Spanish with an agency correction and new date.
  • Texas has updated its Texas Unemployment Insurance and Pay Day Law posting in English and Spanish with the addition of unemployment insurance information back on the poster.
  • Utah has updated its Unemployment Insurance posting with changes to its filing instructions and contact information and its Pregnancy and Related Conditions Under the Utah Antidiscrimination Act posting with a reduction and simplification of verbiage.
