Greater Rochester Chamber Hosts Governor Kathy Hochul for Meeting with Regional Business Leaders
As the leading voice of business for the nine-county Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes region, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce continues to create impactful opportunities for public and private sector collaboration. On Monday, September 9th, Greater Rochester Chamber was proud to host Governor Kathy Hochul at its downtown Rochester office for a meeting with leaders from Greater Rochester Chamber's Board of Directors, representing some of the region’s most influential businesses.
During this meeting, Governor Hochul engaged in in-depth discussions with executives from companies that employ thousands of workers across our community and play pivotal roles driving billions of dollars in revenue to New York State’s economy. Her visit underscored a commitment to understanding the challenges, opportunities, and needs of the business community, as well as exploring strategies for continued economic growth in the Greater Rochester area. Representatives spanned industries and priorities, including executives from Baldwin Richardson Foods, Constellation Brands, Five Star Bank, Indus Hospitality Group, M&T Bank, Wegmans Food Markets, and Wilmorite Management Group.
