Five Star Bank’s Annual Work of Heart Week Serves 43 Nonprofits Throughout Western and Central New York
WARSAW, N.Y. – October 2, 2024 – Associates from Five Star Bank (“Five Star” or the “Bank”) and affiliate Courier Capital, LLC served 43 nonprofit organizations as part of the Bank’s annual Work of Heart Week, which took place from September 23 to September 27. This marks the third annual company-wide community service event the growing community bank has held, as part of its commitment to making a meaningful and positive difference in the communities where its associates live and work.

Throughout the week of September 23rd, more than 550 associates volunteered over 1,500 hours to 43 nonprofits across the Bank’s Western and Central New York footprint. Among the organizations supported by this year’s event were The Teacher’s Deck, FeedMore WNY, YWCA Rochester & Monroe County, the Warsaw Food Pantry, Family Promise of Ontario and more.
