38th Annual List of Fastest-Growing, Privately-Owned Companies

NOVEMBER 6, 2024 (Rochester, NY) – Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce announced the rankings for the 2024 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 List at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, November 6th at the Floreano Convention Center, attended by over 1,500 business and community leaders from the Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes region. UTC RETAIL took the number one spot on the 38th annual list and provides enterprise class store technology solutions, including POS software, hardware, and professional services, to some of North America’s leading retailers. Turn-key contractor Taylor, The Builders and fiber internet provider Greenlight Networks rounded out the top three.

The annual Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list celebrates the fastest-growing, privately owned companies in the Greater Rochester nine-county region. Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce accounting partner KPMG LLP determines Top 100 rankings based upon dollar and percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, which allows companies large and small to compete on a level playing field. All revenue information received is kept in the strictest of confidence and is not made public.

“Our Top 100 companies are powerful engines, contributing to and growing our regional economy. Their successes are powered by their employees, their leadership, and of course their customers. In spite of the challenges faced at the micro and macro levels, these companies are thriving and growing, hiring more employees and creating more opportunities. We are all grateful for their contributions to this region and the people who call it home,” said Bob Duffy, President & CEO, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, “The 2024 Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 companies employ over 20,000 people around the country, with 13,000 of them being right here in the Greater Rochester region. This year, these companies generated over $4.7 billion in revenue, which has had an unquestionable impact on our regional economy. Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate on Thursday, and to all our sponsors and supporters for making this annual recognition celebration possible.”
