PITTSFORD, N.Y., Nov. 18, 2024 — Hamilton Stern Construction, a construction management and general contracting firm, has been recognized with several prestigious awards for its growth, success, and dedication to safety and excellence.

In 2024, Hamilton Stern Construction was honored with the following accolades:

• Rochester Business Journal’s Leaders in Construction & Real Estate Honoree – Top General Contractors. This award recognized Hamilton Stern for changing the landscape of the Rochester region through design, construction, project management, lending, innovation and more.
• Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100. Hamilton Stern was named #19 among the Top 100 fastest-growing privately owned companies. Since 2014, the company has been named to the list nine times.
• Preservation League of NYS Excellence Awards. Two of the firm’s recent projects were selected for this prestigious award: Canal Commons, a historic rehabilitation/adaptive reuse project in Rochester, and Reynolds Way, a historic preservation project in Elmira, N.Y. These projects highlight Hamilton Stern’s expertise in construction management of historic rehabilitation/preservation. • President’s Circle Risk Control Excellence Award. Hamilton Stern received this General Contractors Insurance award for exemplary safety management and risk-control performance.
• Rochester Business Journal’s Power List for Construction and Real Estate. Principals and co-founders Justin Hamilton and Christopher Stern were named to this Power List for their work to transform the Rochester community’s construction and real-estate markets.
