Flower City Challenge Coming April 27th

Rochester, NY – Fleet Feet and YellowJacket Racing are excited to announce the return of the annual Rochester Regional Health Flower City Challenge, taking place on Sunday, April 27th at Parcel 5. The event, which has become a springtime staple in the region, will run from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM and features the following races:

    • Rochester Regional Health Flower City Half Marathon (13.1 miles) – 7:30 AM
    • Family 5K (3.1 miles) – 7:30 AM
    • Kids’ Half Mile – 10:30 AM

Since 2010, the Flower City Challenge has showcased sights, beauty and history of so many Rochester neighborhoods.  The course starts and finishes at Parcel 5 and takes in the Susan B Anthony neighborhood, downtown, East Ave, Park Avenue, Goodman to Highland Park, University of Rochester along Wilson Blvd, Genesee Valley Park and back north on the Genesee Riverway to South Avenue by Court Street to Main Street, where a post-race celebration will feature live music from The Uptown Groove.
