Pins for a Purpose: Join CDS Wolf Foundation for an Afternoon of Bowling Fun and Giving to Support Services for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Webster, N.Y. – February 14, 2025 – For the 18th consecutive year, the CDS Wolf Foundation is inviting the community to take part in its Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the services that empower them to thrive. The event is taking place this year on Sunday, March 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Bowlero Empire, 2400 Empire Blvd, Webster, N.Y.
“We’re so excited to again welcome the community to join us for the Strikes for Abilities Bowling Party, either as a sponsor or a team of bowlers knocking down pins for the purpose of supporting services and programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities CDS Monarch serves,” says David Greenman, Executive Director of the CDS Wolf Foundation.
The event features multiple games of bowling for teams of five, prizes, and pizza and drinks. Proceeds from the event benefit community living opportunities, residential improvements and other unfunded areas of need for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities CDS Monarch serves. (CDS Monarch and the CDS Wolf Foundation are affiliates of CDS Life Transitions.)
“We are very excited about the prizes we are giving out this year. There is jewelry, gift cards, tickets to theater and sporting events, and apparel. We are thankful to everyone who donated items,” says Greenman.
Although the event is just under a month away, Greenman points out that there is still time to register teams of five bowlers for the afternoon of charitable giving and a rolling good time.
“If you aren’t able to attend, but would like to donate, please consdier becoming an event sponsor. We have several different levels and I am sure there is one that fits your budget,” says Greenman.
