The largest community-wide volunteer event across our region returns on May 15
Member post shared on behalf of Greater Rochester Chamber United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes
Every spring United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes mobilizes over 6,000 volunteers across the region for the community’s single largest volunteer effort. Individuals and teams from 250 workplaces lend a helping hand to 200 local community-based organizations during one impactful day.
Volunteer projects are available across Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Wyoming, and Wayne counties and include painting, raking, cleaning up parks, planting community gardens, and more.
Connect with coworkers, friends, and family to spend the day raising up our communities. If you are interested in giving back, or are an agency looking for more support, please visit www.unitedwayrocflx.org/dayofcaring to get started.
