Do you know a college student or recent grad? Encourage them to apply for our 2025-2026 RETAIN Cohort
RETAIN, presented by Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Monroe County, is back and better than ever for year two. This program is designed to help recent graduates from local colleges, trade schools, and two-year institutions grow their careers right here in the Greater Rochester region. Last week, we announced that applications for our second cohort are officially open.
The RETAIN program, presented as part of our CampusROC initiative, supports participants through professional development, networking opportunities, and financial incentives - all with the maximum impact to help you thrive after graduation.
Qualified Applicants
Those who have graduated within one year from a college, university, or trade school located in Greater Rochester and have secured employment in Monroe County, with a focus on minority and women-owned businesses, and those in highly distressed zip codes will be prioritized.
Post-Grad Incentives
Our grant offers $4,000 per recipient to support recent graduates from trade schools, two-year schools, and colleges staying in Greater Rochester after graduating. This program offers financial assistance for wellness and professional development opportunities as well.
Additional Opportunities
Participants will have access to professional development resources and potential mentorship in partnership with young professional networks. Events include a Welcome Event, a Family Weekend, professional networking opportunities, and an End of Year Celebration.
This year, RETAIN is expanding to support up to 35 participants. If you know anyone or your organization has hired or is planning to hire any individuals who graduated between May 2024 and May 2025 to work full time in Monroe County, encourage them to apply today! Learn more and apply online here.
