DiMarco Group Welcomes General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer
DiMarco Group is pleased to announce Nathan Vander Wal has joined its Rochester office as general counsel and chief administrative officer. In his role, Vander Wal will join the leadership team and oversee legal counsel, strategic planning, governmental affairs and economic development initiatives across the DiMarco Group companies. He’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing policies related to company contracts, compliance and corporate governance.
Vander Wal brings 14 years of experience in private practice at the Global 100 law firm Nixon Peabody LLP as an attorney in the Real Estate and Community Development group, where he provided counsel to property owners, developers, management companies, landlords and tenants on commercial transactions including acquisition and disposition of properties, development projects, renewable energy projects, leasing, financing and land use and zoning matters.

Vander Wal graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Calvin University. He resides in Brighton with his wife, Elizabeth, and three children.
