Announcing the recipients of the Sandy Parker Memorial Scholarship for Young Women
The Greater Rochester Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides financial support for educational and community development activities and programs, is proud to announce the winners of the Sandy Parker Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship provides financial support to young women at Our Lady of Mercy School for Young Women completing their high school education to then achieve their dreams of a college education if they choose to.
The scholarship is named in honor of Sandy Parker, former Rochester Business Alliance president and CEO and beloved community member, who was known for her passion for education and her commitment to empowering young women. This scholarship continues her legacy by providing financial support to those who need it most.
The scholarship recipients were selected based on their academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.
The Sandy Parker Memorial Scholarship Recipients are:
Patrika Bennett, Our Lady of Mercy Class of 2026

The scholarship provides financial assistance for tuition and other related expenses, allowing the recipients to focus on their studies and reach their full potential. The scholarship recipients will also receive mentorship and other support from Greater Rochester Chamber Foundation throughout their academic careers.
The Greater Rochester Chamber Foundation is committed to empowering young women and creating a brighter future for them. The Sandy Parker Memorial Scholarship is just one of the many initiatives the organization is undertaking to support young women and help them achieve their full potential.
