Geared for Growth: DiPasquale Construction Builds Excitement for New Office Expansion
Jason Colline, Vice President of DiPasquale Construction, was featured on “Geared for Growth” on Wednesday, August 9th as part of Greater Rochester Chamber’s ongoing partnership with 13WHAM. Colline discussed what projects DiPasquale works on in the Greater Rochester region, their exciting new expansion and upcoming move, and what it means to the company and the community.
DiPasquale Construction works on commercial projects in the public and private sectors all around the Greater Rochester region. Colline shared a multitude of projects the company has worked on in Henrietta alone, including the Henrietta Recreation Center on Caulkins Road, a Ruby Car Wash on Jefferson, Helio Health on Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road, and a 35,000
square foot snow removal equipment building for Monroe County. He went on to say, “A lot of buildings that you drive past every day and wonder how did this happen.”
In addition to their many projects for customers, DiPasquale Construction is in the process of building a new and expanded office for themselves in Canal Ponds Business Park. Colline shared some of the thought process that went into building their office to be exactly what they wanted to be. He explained that this office is not just a place for them to do business, but also a showcase of their work and capabilities for customers. “One of the things that we really put a lot of thought into are the different materials that we’re using,” he shared, “We’re going to have exposed ceilings, so when you come visit, you’ll be able to see our construction in the hallways from the ductwork to the electrical work and the sprinkler ceilings. When you go into the office, you’ll have a traditional acoustical ceiling and carpeted floors.” He also shared some of the state-of-the-art technology they’ve invested in.
However, what Jason noted as more exciting than the actual office at their new headquarters is the space they’re creating for employees on the third floor. “The only thing on the third floor is a gym for our employees, with a nice shower like you’d have at home.” He also noted that they’re adding a rooftop deck and a 3,000 square-foot training facility for them to get together with the team to learn and work together, but also host events and parties to recognize all the hard work their team does each day.
Colline said that the most important part of their company is the people, and that is why they are investing so heavily in their new office. “It’s important to take care of our staff, and not just the office staff. Our field people are the ones that it happen, the carpenters, the laborers, the operator engineers are the ones out there that are working in the rain to make it happen,” he explained.
