In an exciting development for Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Rochester region, esteemed member JCS Controls Inc. is set to amplify its presence in Monroe County, marking a significant milestone for the thriving food and beverage ecosystem in the Finger Lakes region.
JCS Controls Inc., a renowned food and beverage engineering and consulting firm, is undertaking a substantial expansion of its Monroe County operations. The company is investing in a 15,000 square-foot addition to its existing Metro Park facility in the Town of Brighton, with a focus on advanced process and control systems designs tailored to the food and beverage industry. This expansion is set to create over 30 new jobs, and includes the installation of state-of-the-art welding and air filtering systems, along with the optimization of space to accommodate the company's growing engineering team.
JCS Controls Inc.'s subsidiary, UltraPhil, is set to establish operations in Downtown Rochester with a focus on aseptic dairy, milk, coffee/tea, protein, and other low & high acid products.
JCS Controls Inc. has recently been recognized by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce as one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in the region. This expansion not only reflects the company's success but will also contribute to the overall advancement of the food and beverage industry in the Finger Lakes.
Empire State Development is providing up to $400,000 for the project through the Excelsior Jobs Tax Credit program, aligning with the state's vision for economic growth. The total project cost is estimated at $2.7 million, with support also coming from Monroe County and the City of Rochester.
