Achieving More Together: RG&E to Hold Community Fair on April 5
Guest post by Greater Rochester Chamber member RG&E / AVANGRID
RG&E is hosting a community fair on Friday, April 5th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to directly connect with the Greater Rochester community and share exciting updates on projects and initiatives. Hosted at Washington Square Park, join RG&E employees to see exhibits including an electric vehicle and charging station, leak survey, electric live line demonstrations, tree care and vegetation management, and many others!
The event will focus on sharing RG&E role in the community. Customer service representatives and advocates will also be available on site to assist with any billing or service-related needs.
Additionally, RG&E will be showing off their clean energy and environmentally focused business areas. Smart Grids and EV Make Ready Program representatives will be in attendance, showcasing their commitment to providing clean energy for all. Members of their Vegetation Management team will be on site as well to discuss their tree care program and how they are mindful of the ecosystems they serve.
Greentopia and Cornell Cooperative Education will be joining the Vegetation Management team to share exciting updates on the High Falls State Park project. Be sure to stop by to learn about their tree planting initiatives and how RG&E is helping revitalize their former Beebee Station to turn it into a new state park for all to enjoy.
The RG&E Community Fair is made possible with support from Greentopia, Cornell Cooperative Education, Greater Rochester Habitat for Humanity, and Goodwill of Rochester and the Finger Lakes.
