Rochester Global Connections Seeks Host Families for International Student Exchange Programs
Rochester, NY – Rochester Global Connections (RGC), a nonprofit organization committed to fostering international understanding and cultural exchange, is excited to announce the search for host families for its 2024 series of international student exchange programs. With programs involving youth from Iraq, the Caribbean, and Bolivia/Peru, RGC aims to enrich the Rochester community by facilitating cultural connections that inspire global citizenship.
Program Details:
- Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP)
- Dates: July 9 – 22, 2024
- Youth Ambassadors Caribbean Exchange
- Dates: August 3 – 13, 2024
- Youth Ambassadors Bolivia/Peru Exchange
- Dates: October 12 – 23, 2024
- Participant Age Group: Youth ages 15-18
- English Proficiency: Fluent
RGC is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic families in the Rochester area who are interested in hosting one or two international students during the program dates. Host families are crucial to the success of the exchange programs, providing students with a supportive home environment, daily meals, and assistance with transportation during weekdays.
Host Family Benefits:
