Levine Center to End Hate to host Brave Spaces 2024 Annual Summit to End Hate

date
May 20, 2024

The Levine Center to End Hate is hosting its 4th annual Summit to End Hate on Tuesday, June 11th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Art Gallery. This year's event is titled Brave Spaces: Navigating Difficult Workplace Conversations to Restore Empathy and Authenticity.

In the realm of business, it's widely understood that that innovation and diversifying our systems generate success. But innovation requires disrupting the status quo, and creating brave spaces for authenticity, vulnerability, and discomfort.

Brave Spaces 2024 is a half-day summit dedicated to exploring the current issues surrounding diversity and inclusion in the workplace and its effectiveness. The event will guide participants through mastering the difficult but necessary dialogues to build an authentic and thriving staff. Beyond the economic benefits, teams that do the work of holding these difficult conversations see an improved ROI in retention and their place in the community.

The first 250 registrants will receive a copy of Emmanuel Acho’s latest book, Uncomfortable Conversations With A Jew (2024, co-written by Noa Tishby).

The event will feature keynotes by Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Bob Duffy and NYT-best selling author and Emmy Award winner Emmanuel Acho.
