(July 15, 2024) — Harris Beach is excited to welcome an attorney with deep experience in international mergers and acquisitions to our firm as senior counsel in our Corporate Practice Group.

Mark F. Schuber represents investment banks, private equity and venture capital firms, not-for-profit entities and businesses ranging from startups to fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries.

He has represented international entities in mergers as high as $2 billion, including deals to take a Canadian neutral video platform, an electric vehicle manufacturer, and a nanowire battery company public. He has also represented an India-based information technology services company in a $66 million acquisition of a provider of optimization software for the insurance industry, a private equity fund in its sale of one of North America’s largest device-independent telematics and connected vehicle intelligence companies, and a French rental car company in its acquisition of an American rental car company.

Mark has experience in an array of other corporate matters, including joint ventures, strategic investments, venture capital transactions, small and large-scale contract and other commercial negotiations, corporate governance matters, corporate restructuring, officer and director transition planning, regulatory compliance, and other general corporate matters.

His arrival comes during a period of growth for Harris Beach, which recently announced it had approved an Operating Agreement with New England-based Murtha Cullina to form a regional powerhouse in the legal industry. The new firm, to be known as Harris Beach Murtha, will feature more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and the District of Columbia.
