Greater Rochester Chamber convenes meeting with local delegation and regional banking organizations to discuss community investment strategies
As the leading advocate for business in the nine-county Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes region, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce partners with both public and private entities to formulate strategies that enhance the overall quality of life in our community. This week, we brought together our State’s Majority Delegation and representatives from member financial institutions to discuss ways to best support communities in need.
The meeting was incredibly productive, resulting in plans to identify additional actionable ways to support individuals and communities in need in the City of Rochester and surrounding areas. Greater Rochester Chamber thanks Senators Jeremy Cooney and Samra Brouk and Assembly Members Harry Bronson, Jen Lunsford, Sarah Clark, and Demond Meeks, and their teams, for taking the time to meet with key leaders in the financial industry. We are grateful to ESL Federal Credit Union, Genesee Regional Bank, Five Star Bank, and M&T Bank for participating in this important conversation.
As a convener, we are proud to bring together business and civic leaders for solutions-oriented conversations around key issues impacting industries and businesses within our regional economy. If there are any issues at the local, State, or Federal levels impacting your organization, please contact Chief of Staff Marc Cohen at Marc.Cohen@GreaterRochesterChamber.com to start a conversation about how we can best support your needs.
