If you haven't been receiving emails from Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com, follow the steps below to ensure you never miss important communications.

General Tips

  1. Check Your Spam/Junk Folder:
    • Sometimes emails may be mistakenly flagged as spam. Be sure to check your spam or junk folder and mark any Chamber emails as “Not Spam” or move them to your inbox.
  2. Add Us to Your Contacts/Safe Senders List:
    • Adding Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com to your email contacts or safe senders list ensures that our messages will be recognized as important and land in your inbox.

Step-by-Step Instructions for Popular Email Platforms

Gmail
  1. Check Spam Folder:
    • Go to the "Spam" folder on the left sidebar of Gmail.
    • If you see any Chamber emails there, select them and click "Not spam" at the top.
  2. Create a Filter to Bypass Spam:
    • Click the gear icon and select "See all settings."
    • Go to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab.
    • Click "Create a new filter."
    • In the "From" field, enter Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com.
    • Click "Create filter," then choose "Never send it to Spam," and click "Create filter" again.
Outlook
  1. Check Junk Email Folder:
    • In Outlook, click on the "Junk Email" folder on the left sidebar.
    • If you find any Chamber emails, right-click the email, select "Junk," and then "Not Junk."
  2. Add to Safe Senders:
    • Click "Settings" (gear icon) > "View all Outlook settings."
    • Select "Junk email."
    • Under "Safe senders and domains," click "Add," then enter Chamber@GreaterRochesterChamber.com and click "Save."
Apple Mail
  1. Check Junk Mail Folder:
    • Open Apple Mail and check the "Junk" folder in the sidebar.
    • If you find a Chamber email, right-click it and select "Move to Inbox."
  2. Add to Contacts:
    • Open the email and click on the sender's name.
    • Choose "Add to Contacts" from the dropdown menu.
