ROC Exploration Weekend Kicks Off This Weekend to Showcase Rochester to Higher Ed Students

Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is excited to remind the community that ROC Exploration Weekend, part of our CampusROC program, is happening this weekend, September 13-15. This three-day event is designed to connect local college students with Rochester’s vibrant business community, culture, and opportunities, helping to retain top talent in the region.

Friday, September 13: Happy Hour at Bar Bantam *Limited Availability*
Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Location: Bar Bantam, 1 South Clinton Avenue Rochester, NY 14604

A special happy hour exclusively for graduate students, where local employers will be on hand to network and connect. Students are invited to learn more about Rochester’s professional landscape and explore potential career paths while enjoying great food and drink in the heart of downtown.

Saturday, September 14: ROC Exploration Weekend Career Fair *Open to All*
Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Innovation Square, 100 South Clinton Ave, Rochester NY 14604

The ROC Exploration Weekend Career Fair will feature local employers eager to meet and recruit talented students from trade schools, two-year, and four-year colleges. This event is a prime opportunity for companies to engage directly with future job seekers, discuss career opportunities, and showcase what makes Rochester a great place to build a career.

Sunday, September 15: Drag Me to Brunch at Crisp *Limited Availability*
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Crisp, 819 South Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14620

We’re ending the weekend on a high note with Drag Me to Brunch, featuring performances by local drag queens, including Mrs. Kasha Davis from RuPaul’s Drag Race. This lively and inclusive event captures the spirit of Rochester and offers a fun experience for students, complete with complimentary mimosa and delicious breakfast options.

Additional Weekend Activities:
Throughout the weekend, students can enjoy exclusive discounts at local attractions, special offers at participating restaurants, and great giveaways on 9/14. This is a unique chance for students to explore all that Rochester has to offer while connecting with the local community and employers.
