Veterans Outreach Center hosts Major General Timothy Lunderman at Stars & Stripes 2024
Rochester, NY – Veterans Outreach Center is hosting its signature event, A Stars & Stripes Celebration, Friday, November 1st at the Riverside Convention Center starting at 5:30pm. The event serves to remember, honor, and celebrate the brave men and women who served our country. It also features the powerful Table of Honor Ceremony, recognizing those from the Rochester area who were killed in action since September 11th, 2001.
The evening includes dinner, dessert, and dancing! All veteran attendees are asked to wear their military uniform or their service medals/ribbons.

“For over 50 years, VOC has been a vital resource for veterans. Stars & Stripes is our biggest annual event, and every year it makes for a touching and powerful evening,” said VOC Executive Director-- and Army Veteran-- Laura Heltz. She added, “We believe the gala truly honors and celebrates those who have served our nation. This year, we welcome Major General Timothy T. Lunderman (Retired) as our guest speaker. A graduate of RIT, the Major General served over 32 years in the US Airforce. We are looking forward to his inspiring presentation.”
