Child Care Council Hosting Business Navigator Toolkit Launch, Jan. 22, 2025

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Dec. 2, 2024 – Business owners, human resources professionals and policy makers are invited to attend an event to learn more about employees’ child care needs.

Child Care Council Inc. is hosting the live launch of the NYS Business Navigator Child Care Toolkit, Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at its offices at 595 Blossom Road, Suite 120, in Rochester.

The Business Navigator Toolkit is designed to help employers understand their employees’ child care needs and connect them with employee benefits, HR services, other child care resources and relevant tax credits. During the launch event, attendees will learn about:

  • How to tailor child care solutions that meet the specific needs of their employees and provide a substantial return on investment.
  • Practical tools that facilitate the implementation of effective child care strategies within their business.
  • Essential case studies, regional contacts, and additional resources to kickstart or enhance their child care programs.
  • The critical areas of child care needs through comprehensive data available to employers and child care providers.

Child Care Council is partnering with the Early Care & Learning Council and Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council as part of a statewide project to build and launch the Business Navigator Child Care Toolkit. Funded by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, the toolkit was developed by Early Care & Learning Council. This statewide initiative provides strategies and tools for New York State employers dedicated to enhancing workplace support for caregivers.
