Last Chance to Experience Drawing as Discovery at MAG

WHAT: Final opportunity to see Drawing as Discovery: 500 Years of Drawings and Watercolors from MAG’s Permanent Collection – closing on Sunday, January 12, 2025. This exhibition features over 100 extraordinary works, including pieces by Edgar Degas, Georgia O’Keeffe, Francisco Goya, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Kara Walker. The exhibit showcases artists’ technical mastery and creative exploration across five centuries, offering a rich perspective on the artistic process. Don’t miss this rare chance to experience a stunning collection of drawings and watercolors that reflect the diversity of cultures, periods, and artistic techniques. Guests can also engage with their creativity in the interactive in-gallery drawing studio, featuring supplies, still life setups, and a community wall to display their creations. MAG hours: 11 am–5 pm Wednesdays–Sundays, 11 am–9 pm on Thursdays

HOW: Admission: $20 adults, $18 seniors, $9 students and children (ages 6–18). Free for MAG members, University of Rochester students, faculty, and staff, and children under 5. Half-price admission on Thursdays from 5–9 pm.
