Greater Rochester Chamber releases statement on Governor Hochul’s FY2026 Executive Budget Proposal

Greater Rochester Chamber President & CEO Bob Duffy issued the following statement in response to Governor Hochul’s FY2026 Executive Budget proposal:

“Governor Hochul’s FY2026 budget proposal reaffirms her commitment to prioritize and invest in the Finger Lakes Region. Her support in key areas that impact our businesses is crucial as we look make New York State more affordable for all and more welcoming for our employers. I am glad to see Governor Hochul outline proposals that our members care most about, including increasing the state-share in Medicaid spending, expanding access to childcare, and funding the development of power-ready sites will make it easier to conduct business in NYS. On behalf of Greater Rochester Chamber and its members, I look forward to working with both houses of the legislature in the coming weeks to deliver these goals to New York State.”
