‘Call of Duty’ charity tournament at Great Lakes Gaming takes aim at supporting local veterans!
Rochester, NY –Great Lakes Gaming in Rochester is hosting a charity video game tournament with the popular game ‘Call of Duty’ on Saturday, March 1st. All proceeds raised will directly help local veterans at Veterans Outreach Center.
“Veterans Outreach Center offers a full menu of specialized services to those who have served our nation. We offer employment and training resources to job-seeking vets, food and clothing through our Quartermaster program, shelter to veterans who are homeless, a fitness center, hydromassage therapy, a barbershop and so much more,” said VOC Executive Director—and U.S. Army Veteran—Laura Heltz. “We can’t thank Great Lakes Gaming and all who will be playing enough for their generosity.”
The cost is $30 per player. The event is open to the public, and spectators are encouraged to attend! Food and drinks will be provided, and prizes will be awarded.
