Greater Rochester Chamber and RochesterWorks are pleased to announce a mutual partnership to expand and refresh the existing Greater ROC Careers portal. Featuring a new revitalized brand, this exciting collaboration will bring thousands of additional careers and resources to the platform and strengthen its existing reputation as a hub for employment in the Greater Rochester region.

The Greater ROC Careers job board serves as a one-stop shop for employers and job-seekers to connect for positions at all levels in the nine-county Finger Lakes Region. Greater ROC Careers has the technology and sophistication of a national job board, but focuses solely on jobs in Greater Rochester. Since the platform was launched in 2021, over 800 employers have joined the platform and posted over 55,000 open roles. Through this collaboration, Greater ROC Careers will serve as the primary job board for customers at the three RochesterWorks One-Stop Career Centers. It will also provide navigation to the wide menu of free services that RochesterWorks offers to Rochester’s job seekers and employers.

This new brand is part of a unified family of programs as part of the Greater ROC place brand, a unified regional branding effort to show how Greater Rochester, NY is full of opportunity. Greater ROC Careers joins Greater Rochester Chamber’s existing Greater ROC Relocate and Greater ROC Global programs in this initiative.

Employers can post jobs and search for qualified candidates for free. Employers can also set up alerts to be notified when a job seeker with certain qualifications registers with the job board. For a monthly fee, a job scraping feature will automatically pull jobs from an employer website and post them each business day. Job seekers can search for jobs, upload their credentials, set up alerts to be notified of matching new jobs, and quickly apply to positions that interest them.
