Greater Rochester Enterprise is a regional economic development organization supported by a team of private and public sector leaders dedicated to improving economic performance in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region.
Rochester Downtown Development Corporation is funded by corporations, institutions, and real estate companies with an agenda of nurturing development initiatives, including housing, commercial, entertainment, and large public projects.
Small Business Development Center helps clients understand the importance of a business plan, discover sources of funding, develop marketing plans, and comply with licensing and regulations, as well as overcome many other obstacles to success.
Empire State Development is New York’s chief economic development agency. Its mission is to promote a vigorous and growing state economy, encourage business investment and job creation, and support diverse, prosperous local economies across New York State through the efficient use of loans, grants, tax credits, real estate development, marketing, and other forms of assistance.
Greater Rochester SCORE has almost 100 volunteer members available to provide counseling, mentoring, and workshops to assist small businesses located in the area around Rochester. All volunteer their time and expertise to assist small businesses in our area.
Imagine Monroe offers financial assistance for for-profit companies including sales and mortgage tax exemptions and real property tax abatements.
Rochester Public Library's mission is to engage the community in life-long learning for all through equal access to information, technology, gathering spaces and expert staff. They have a number of helpful resources for business and entrepreneurs.

RochesterWorks! is Monroe County's largest employment and training initiative, dedicated to helping develop a strong workforce.
Rochester Young Professionals is a group that coordinates, collaborates, and promotes events around Rochester that are social, volunteer, or informational in nature. The organization connects young Rochester with activities that will help improve their careers, social lives, and character.
Visit Rochester, the visitors and convention bureau, looks to area businesses as partners in the marketing of the community for tourism and economic development.
