Chamber Academy: Training Opportunities

ATHENA International Leadership Institute for Men & Women - Launching in 2024, the ATHENA Leadership Institute offers inspiring, educational programs to meet individuals where they are along their leadership journey and usher them into a whole new paradigm of self-discovery through with a year-long guided cohort program.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) - Back with a new and improved curriculum for 2024, our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training titled Building Bridges: The What, the Why, and the How of DEI will build knowledge and skills for all employees looking to make a difference in the DEI space.

Human Resources Management - Comprehensive, hands-on series of six half-day classes designed to refresh skills for people already in the HR profession, or provide an overview of HR policies and practices for those just entering the field.

Leadership for Managers - This program consists of five half-day sessions that include the practical concepts, strategies, and skills needed to enhance a leader's performance.

Mental Health Training - New for 2024, this three-part program, titled "Navigating Challenges & Fostering Resilience" focuses on understanding and managing employee mental health. Participants will gain knowledge and skills to address mental health issues.

Successful Supervision - A series of five half-day sessions to equip your supervisors/managers with the tools they need to be more effective, whether they have experience or are new to the role.

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification Preparation Workshop - New for 2024, Greater Rochester Chamber is excited to partner with Monroe Community College to offer a comprehensive program designed to prepare HR professionals for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams

Peer-to-Peer Learning Groups

CLIMB (Chamber Leadership Initiative: Mentoring for Business) - A ten-month program that brings together the most talented young members of the Rochester/Finger Lakes business community to learn and grow together, making connections and acquiring insight that will help them ascend to new heights of leadership and success within their organizations and community.

DEI Leadership Exchange - The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Leadership Exchange program provides a confidential and exclusive space for top diversity leaders to convene to exchange ideas, hone skills, and forge strategies that mold business practices and usher in impactful change within their organizations and the wider community.
