CLIMB is a 10-month experiential mentorship program designed to connect young professionals to business leaders across multiple sectors of the regional economy to facilitate perspective, collaboration, and growth.
Participants will get an inside look at local success stories, hearing personal wisdom from star CEOs and their teams. We’ll go behind the scenes to better understand the choices and challenges that made these businesses what they are today and how they fit into the global marketplace. Community and political leaders will weigh in on crucial issues facing this region.
Get ready to “XLR8” critical leadership skills with trainer Andrew Brady, an expert on Positive Psychology who has worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Wegmans Food Markets. Tailored coaching will hone in on personal strengths and opportunities to foster relationships, communication, and the “inner compass” of our CLIMB participants.
They’ll travel the diverse Finger Lakes region in style aboard the “Executive Coach” from LINQ, our official CLIMB transportation partner—with amenities such as Wi-Fi, charging stations, multimedia, and more.
CLIMB participants will begin the program in August at a kick-off meeting, where they will receive the details of the nine signature events and supplemental materials. Participants will convene once a month from August through May (with the exception of December) at a variety of different locations throughout the region, and be part of ongoing engagement, discussion, and leadership development.
At the conclusion of the program, participants will be invited to a one-year term on Rochester Chamber’s Future Leaders Advisory Council (FLAC).

We invite you to nominate your organization’s rising stars to be part of this groundbreaking program. These individuals should be future or current leaders who would benefit from an enhanced network and valuable resources within the Rochester/Finger Lakes business community, and who could contribute to Rochester Chamber as a voice of progress and leadership.

- Clear contribution to either the business or to the greater community
- Demonstrates strong initiative in their endeavors

- Exhibits a high standard of integrity by leading through example
- Maintains high personal standards
How much does CLIMB cost?
The cost of the program is $1,600 per participant and includes materials and attendance at all events.
How to apply:
The application period is now closed. Class size is limited to 25 participants and subject to selection by Rochester Chamber management team. All applicants will be notified and the program will begin by the end of August.
