Greater ROC Global

Greater ROC Global is a talent development and retention program launched by Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce in partnership with inSpring, a national workforce development organization and Talent Mobility Fund grantee.

Designed to address critical talent gaps in healthcare and advanced manufacturing, the program provides comprehensive recruiting, training, compliance, and retention services to fill talent gaps in critical sectors.

Building on Greater Rochester Chamber’s commitment to connecting and growing talent, Greater ROC Global plays a vital role in strengthening the region’s workforce and fueling economic growth as part of the OneROC alliance.

Greater ROC Global aims to:

Create a talent pipeline for regional needs
Recruit global talent to fill key industry gaps
Onboard and develop GRG participants for retention
Create welcoming experiences for newcomers

Greater ROC Global begins by launching its Healthcare Center of Excellence and aims to address the critical shortage of skilled clinical talent in Greater Rochester’s healthcare systems. The program connects global candidates with educational opportunities, supports certification completion, and facilitates their transition into the regional workforce.

Program Highlights:

    • Global Recruitment: Source qualified candidates from around the world.

    • Educational Support: Connect candidates with programs to prepare for the role and obtain certification.

    • Workforce Integration: Assist with employment authorization and community integration.

“For years, Greater Rochester Chamber has consistently heard from our members and regional employers that access to high-quality talent has been a limiting factor in their organizational growth. We are excited to launch our Greater ROC Global program to bring new talent into our region, showcasing the vibrant community we live and work in and helping to fill these crucial talent gaps for employers. We are excited to partner with our health systems in this first phase to enable them to better serve our community and access the individuals they need to for their vital work building a strong and healthy workforce. Thank you to inSpring for their partnership in this space.”
